Takeaway pizzeria
Food is great. Owners are for real.
"Da Anna" has the most delicious pizza in the world!
How can you rate this disgustingly dirty restaurant with the rudest restaurateurs I've ever seen with more than 1 star? Who really thinks that is Italian temperament has a real damage. Or they are masochists who like to be yelled at and insulted. The woman is an incredibly unfriendly and poisonous spitting creature, which is complaining and shouting all day. Since I live above the store, I can confirm that it really works like this ALL DAY. People who are far less excited live half as long as this dragon still breathes fire. I can only advise everyone to avoid this shop. Bad mood is guaranteed here.
Scary, definitely never going alone. The owners are nice and nice but sometimes come a little too close. In addition, there was long hair in my dish. No recommendation
Very unfriendly service. We were 4 men one of us Italians and the woman insulted us in Italian because we didn't order a drink. You can write what you want, but I often go to Italian family restaurants and I've only seen something like that here. If even an Italian feels harassed, it has nothing to do with the culture that we don't seem to understand as being.
Rigatoni al forno with egg and parmesan - very tasty. For Beivda Anna, time stood still a bit - but really for the better. Italian music and Italian owners. Plus cheap. Always my pleasure.
The decor a bit old-fashioned, but the food very ?
1 star is still too much! I am absolutely shocked by this store. The couple is extremely rude and unfriendly. I was presented with a card from which I ordered 4 pizzas for me and my colleagues. Later, when paying, I realized that I had to pay a lot more than the prices on the card. Then the gentleman said that the prices have changed and the pizzas now cost more. (you have to explain something beforehand). At the table sat a man who asked the woman about garlic oil .. she said the garlic oil costs extra and yelled at him that everything costs extra and they also have to pay taxes and rent etc. When I wanted to eat my pizza later, I noticed that one ingredient was missing (pineapple). However, this was calculated. I called and asked if there would be no more pineapple or if it was just forgotten. The woman didn't understand me and asked if I would like to order a pizza with pineapple. I repeated that I was already there and got pizzas and that my pineapple is missing. She yelled at me and asked what I would like from her now and hung up. I called again .. Sin answered and put the phone aside. I waited several minutes, hung up and called again. Then only the mailbox was answered.
The pizza is very tasty and cheap! If you are in the mood for something different, the menu offers a number of options - here you also have the best price-performance ratio. I don't mind that the owner couple talk to each other in a spirited way. But the food is great ;-)
The service is poor and the pizza is very dry like you are eating a cookie.
The food was amazing, so far best risotto I’ve ever tried, and for the environment of the place I’d say that it’s like visiting a piece of Italy. The owners where very friendly and they even tried to speak with us a bit in Spanish. The woman screams around for no reason and speaks Italian all the time, which sounds like insults, rarely seen / heard something outrageous is a reason for me not to go there again.
I've known it for 30 years and still enjoy going there. Very small and cozy, delicious food and a very nice couple.
Much more delicious than you would think at first glance. Great pizza, delicious lamb very warm owners When I'm back in Düdo I'll look in again. Thanks for the hospitality
So I could have just bought a fresh oven.
Small ... a bit cramped for several people ... A B E R> The kitchen is 'big!' Cooked, roasted and baked with love! A real insider tip! 5 stars for the kitchen> 4x in the rating, because it is 'a little' tight> but a bit cozy !!!
The horror .... nastiest pizza in years, even the one in Ukraine at that time was better at the EM. And it was not necessarily to be called pizza, but you could eat it. Abnormal here and that of Italians .... I did not perceive the mischief and quarreling of the two owners as directed against me .... They are Italians .... they shout at the two of them all day even when you are runs past. I don't know if something else tastes good, but pizza is nothing.
THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN. Service was absolutely horrible. Restaurant is owned by an Italian couple. The crazy woman shouted loudly at the man with an absolutely horrible, annoying voice for about 10 minutes without receiving any response. Finally the man exploded and then he shouted at her for 5 consecutive minutes. I read someone saying this is a "family atmosphere". Honestly, then you must have been growing up in the most dysfunctional family ever. I don't understand Italian, but would not be surprised if the woman also was being rude to us. The food was OK I guess, but not easy to enjoy it when all you want is to get out ASAP because your ears are bleeding.
12/10 IGN
The food was delicious and the two owners go to you wishes of their customers. I felt welcome and enjoyed the time in the family atmosphere very much.
Super rude owners, As you enter you could hear the screams of a husband and wife from the kitchen. I along with my girlfriend and a friend Spanish continually interrupted during our conversations. Mad monologue of the owner against the Sicilians (I from Palermo), she spat while talking about the dishes she had just served. Very mediocre pizza, I think pre-cooked. It should close, an insult to Italy.
Familiar business accordingly only pickup possible! But for that it is the pizza value when in this corner then there is only this pizza! The dough is simply world class ?
The characteristic and authentic Italian Couple owners from Napoli, Italy.
4 stars for the food. Really good The owner is a really nice guy. Speaks Italian all the time but also understands and speaks a bit of English. The lady in the house is a bit more tuff and tends to say whatever comes to her mind.
small place, great pizza
Stay away from this place! The pizza tastes really bad (one of the worst I ate) and the owner is very rude. I don't know how they are still open.
Best pizza in town, verry tasty
Great service. We speak English and Dutch. They speak Italian and German. Somehow it worked out haha
The pizza is great, but the lady that works there is crazy
Nice pizza
Ok
Accessibile - 4/5 ( in North Dusseldorf so you might need transfers. Crowded neighbourhood so parking might not be always available) Service - 4/5 ( small place so 1 person but she is sweet) Quality - great. Ambience - 4/5 : 4 person get together. Wont recommend for dates.
for great soup omelette and pizza for a good price
The pizza was good, even though I remembered it better (last time at Anna was over a year ago). The ambience is charming. Anyone expecting a professional restaurant here will be disappointed or shocked. The owners (as has been written several times) are anything but professional. If you want to watch an Italian soap live, this is the place for you. I found it amusing, but I think it will put some people off.
I've been visiting this place for over 20 years, this one of the best restaurants in the world and I've signed at many of the worlds top 100 from Noma to Gagaan ! Give Anna a kiss for me and a Ciao to Enzo
Been visiting Düsseldorf for decades for work and always make it a point to visit this small homely pizzeria. The number of dishes on the menu would beat even the largest of restaurants with a team of chefs and during my visits have tried most of the items of the menu and none have dissapointed. The service is prompt and friendly though I noted some of the reviewers found the constant banter of the husband and wife team that runs the restaurant from cooking and serving a bit disconcerting but once you get used to it I would say the food beats many of the fanciest Italian restaurants with prices that are great value for money for good food. I would surely put this small restaurant in the must visit for any one visiting Dusseldorf!!
The couple that own the place are welcoming and friendly if you understand their Italian culture. The food and service is great!
Good pizza. Terrible service!
Absolutely unpredictable behaviour of the owner. He kept fighting with his wife and then started shouting on us and other customers. We left without eating. Avoid at any cost!!!
